iPhone

1. Open the QR code email we sent you on a computer or another phone.
2. On your iPhone, go to Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM (on older iOS versions: Settings → Mobile Data → Add eSIM).
3. Choose Use QR Code and scan the code from the email.
4. Follow the prompts, and label the new line "Roamly" or your destination name.
5. Under Cellular Plans, set your home line as default for calls/iMessage and the Roamly eSIM for data — then turn on Data Roaming for the Roamly line only.

Android

1. Open the QR code email we sent you on a computer or another phone.
2. Go to Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs (menus vary slightly by manufacturer) and tap Add eSIM / Add network.
3. Choose Scan QR code and scan the code from the email.
4. Follow the prompts to finish installation.
5. Make sure mobile data is enabled for the Roamly eSIM, and data roaming is turned on for that line specifically.

No QR code scanner handy?

Every delivery email also includes a manual activation code you can type in directly — look for "Enter details manually" in your phone's eSIM setup screen.
